Thanks Heather, Unfortunately William & Richard arrived in Australia when only teenagers and as per shipping records were to meet up with an Aunt Mary Hetherington. I cannot find a connection between this Mary Hetherington and the Grahams. William & Richard' mother was also Mary so she couldn't be a sister of Hetherington. To my knowledge William & Richard were the only children of James & Mary to migrate. Both of their death certificates do not give any details of parents names. It was only from their shipping records I was able to get the parents names. Hopefully, one day I may be able to find some information. Regards, Fran :) |

Im afraid Ireland is a black hole for info. You could try the IGI.Were no children born in Aus so that you could buy their birth cert for the info? |

Looking for any details for a James & Mary GRAHAM from County Fermanagh. Possibly Enniskillen, Irvinestown, Magheracross areas. Two children known: WILLIAM GRAHAM born about 1838. RICHARD GRAHAM born about 1840. They both migrated to Australia from Magheracross. Would appreciate any details of the above children and of other children born to James & Mary. Also the maiden name of Mary. I have been having no luck in tracing the maiden name of Mary but hopefully with the names of children William & Richard this may help in some way. Thanks Fran |
