Thanks for the input Margaret and June, but in the 1881 census it appears that Isaac is still living at home with Simon and Adelaide (by then my Isaac was married).

I know i've been asking for quite a few lookups lately, but i've been getting so many leads! Anyway can anyone please see if there's a Isaac Jacobs born around 1856/7, Poland in 1871. I know his wife was called Millie Hart but until recently, i assumed he married her in Poland. But, i've now found a marriage that could possibly be them in 1877. I think now that there may be a chance they are in England in 1871. Thanks, Liz.
