Thank you Peter....That is a very kind offer. Could you please say what approximate dates any parish records,... or other records... for St Marys or Northam area might be available please? I have a family in Beaulieu in 1816 and the next 'sighting' is a suspected son's marriage in April 1837 at St Marys. I am hoping to be able to find out if the whole family moved to Southampton from Beaulieu.... the father was a blacksmith,... 'of Bucklers Hard' and I've been told that he may have moved to the city, when shipbuilding declined at B.H. ( He was in I.o W. by 1841 and died before 1851) Gwyn |
