emily is my fathers mother my father was born 1912 how can i find her birth/marriage cert i have found one that my neice has put her birth yr 1895 not sure is correct i am not sure if father was lst born she had another son in 1919 my uncle reginald hope u can help thanks gill

The marriage cert should not be too difficult to find.........I assume you know the names of both parties? Have you checked freebmd? What was your father's name? Reg

Can't see the marriage on the freebmd transcripts on Ancestry........you will need to register with Ancestry and search the FULL records. That entails going through the images, one by one, until you find the record. I would suggest using Emily's name, as it is the more unusual of the two.
