Despirately trying to find more info on William Goymer a pilot of snargate street dover. info taken from daughter anns marriage cert. can't find on 1841 census - anyone any ideas! Dover museum can't help either!! I know I have posted this before but really hitting brick wall and wanted new brains on the case

thanks Reggie yes hte william you have has been suggested but i can find no other record of my ann having a middle name and am lothe to jump to conclusions as dover museum seemed to think goymer a common name. Unfortunatley dont know anything about william except from ann's marriage cert Snargate strret - Pilot in 1840?

Who were the witnesses at Ann's marriage? The address on a cert. is for the couple marrying so her father could have died.....unless he signed the register. Gwyn
