can any one help me find out information on my grandmother, she apparently was born in to a travelling family around 1910 at gorse hill travellers site in anstey leicestershire, she married my grandfather whose surname was french (may have been albert?) details are sketchy because i was adopted and all i have is hearsay from family-who now i have found them are not keen to help me with my roots! any information would be greatly appreciated thank you |

Free BMD has a Nora Lizzie Sykes, Sept. quarter 1909, Barrow S., Leicestershire which covers Anstey. (Vol. 7a, Page 151). Ordering the certificate will give parents' names. Margaret |
