julie there are so many william axfords in the british isles and where do you find a needle in a haystack especially in a big place like london william samuel kingwell axfords mother is charlotte not sophia as states on his birth cert - anyway now after seeing the cert june found the right man under surname of alford on the census because the birth cert said what his dads occupation was a tide waitor (customs officer) june got the right man, and georgina you have helped me many times hun with other family i only found my grandfers mother by checking out a diff surname she was always elizabeth amelia axford and found her under bessie oxford all i did was ask for help its ok to get things wrong these people have been gone a long time they wait for us to find them cos then they are not ever forgotten i hope to place flowers on most of their graves just to say I came from your genes

thank you for finding my GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDAD WILLIAM AXFORD, i live in pembrokeshire the name axford only lives in this part of the world due to william and charlotte having a son also named william, i have been stuck on him for months which is why i have came here to ask you great detectives to help me find him, in the town cemetary there are only two ghraves marked axford my grandfer william henry axford named after his grandfer and my uncle trevor, i have now closure to the chapter in ggg grandads life and i have JUNE and GEORGINA also to thank for this they worked there socks off to get the right man for me and i am indebted to them, just need to leave a little note, because i couldn't get closure i started a couple of threads now and again just as a refresher, which paid off, there are so many axfords in the uk which i have now seen for myself and was gobsmacked, i was told once by a david axford that there are not many axfords he isnt related to :o) so how bout it girls hahahaha only joking thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu shirl xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
