Hello fellow hunters! Can anyone do a lookup either in Cork or Dublin record offices for Michael Ahern born 1873 in Carrigaline near the parish of Kinsale? According to his attestation papers when he joined the Cork Royal Garrison Artillery at Fort Westmorland on Spike Island in 1891...he said he was 18..making it 1873 as his birth year. His father was Thomas Ahern, a baker in Carrigaline, (no mother's name) but I can find no birth records. Many thanks if you can help. Diann
