Hi I found the marriage of John Lucas and Ann Parkinson on another site. They married Aug 14th 1837 in Preston according to Parish records I too looked at the BMD registers and there is definitely an omission of John Anne |

Thanks alot for your help girls. I will send for the certificate, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I was doing wrong. The census record should be the right one, they had a daughter called Sarah in 1841. You have been a great help. xxxxx Janet |

That's really odd, he's not on the original image either. It looks like he's missed being transcribed on the original typed sheet (there are 4 girls and only 3 guys on the same page) or she's the wrong Ann. His info will be the same as hers so you can order the cert from that and see what it says, which is what I would do if you think it's her. |

Hi I am looking for the marriage of my grt grt grt grandparents. Ann Parkinson born 1814 Preston, Lancashire John Lucas born ???? Preston, Lancashire They married in Aug 1837 Preston I was able to find Ann (I think) Vol 12 Page 290 But I can't find the match for John?? I was also unable to find them on the 1841 census. Be grateful for any help Thanks Janet |
