Thank you Margaret for looking and yes thats him and family on 1881 but cant find William in 1891 well looks like this is going back in file lol June x

Me too, I'm fed up with looking for them. I hate to admit defeat, so I've tried everything. I can't find him in 1891 either. Elizabeth A Fothergill 1870 Gilling Richmond Yorkshire marries William Boothroyd 1869 think he might be from Staffordshire as his father was William Boothroyd Clerk on marriage cert they married 1897 Gilling no sign of them in 1901 He was a Policeman any help please Elizabeth is my Grandfathers sister June x
