Can anyone help me - I cannot find Josiah Marriot married to Elizabeth with possibly one daughter still living with them - Hannah aged 15 In the 1871 census they are living in Aston, Warwickshire. Josiah was a shoe maker. He was born about 1826. Any help gratefully received. Karen

Thank you both very much - yes it must be them as Elizabeth's maiden name was Bushell. And I have found them on 1901 by this time Josiah is registered as blind - sad - making shoes in bad light maybe did for his sight. Karen

Mind you, possibly not Saruah's daughter, as she would have been only seven at the time! Angela

Her niece, I guess, Josiah Marriott married Elizabeth Bushell March Q 1848, Hardingstone.
