thanks for the info guys yuor ace however No I do not know if she married or had children hence my stuckness on it all ! Thanks also for the website info I did look at it but currently down for updates etc so will check back ! thanks again Andy

There is a one name study of this surname. Contact details can be found here http://www.one-name.org/cgibin/search.cgi?find=4149 In my experience, one name researchers can vary greatly in their knowledge of the various family groups with the name, but they will have all the GRO index references for the name so may be able to help you to pinpoint Marjorie's death date. Do you know if she married? If she did, her death would be recorded under her married name, not her maiden name. SO unless you know her married name, you would have to look for a marriage first.

I really would like some help I am trying to find out when Marjorie Fishburn died I do not have a lot of info about her apart from she was born in 1916 (Sedgefield county Durham Darlington area ) and she had 1 Brother and 2 Sisters ( I have some of those details on the others) and 1 of Marjorie Sisters is my MUM's MUM)

Before my Mother died (she told me that Marjorie committed suicide by putting her head in the gas oven which as you can imagne is very sad and I really would like to know why this was and how old she was and what year she died ? I Believe the gas supply was changed in 1971 to stop other people dying this way so I am told

There seems to be hardly no infomaton on any of this I would like to know what happined and why she ended her life I really hope someone can help me many thanks Andy

Marjorie's parents were Sybil Edith Nobbs Born 1884 and Ernest Fishburn Born 1893 they got married in 1916 in Sedgefield

Marjorie Fishburn Born 1916 (Sedgefield) Died ??

Muriel M Fishburn Born 1918 (Stockton) Died in Liverpool so I am told but unsure of what year think it was 1980s

Sidney J Fishburn Born 1921 (Stockton) Died unsure

Hilda Fishburn Born 1924 (Stockton) Died 1979/81 in (Middlesbrough)
