not got any more info other then she was married to albert lakin(i have info on him), and was born around 1900,also they had two children neville stanley (my dad) and a daughter ,think her name was joyce . thanks again for your help anna

hi heather the first one (gertrude moore ) is my dads mum she married albert lakin . all i no is she was born around 1900 in leicester i think and they had two children. the second (gertrude king )born 1900 in grimestone leicestershire ,married fredrick nethercot , I know quite abit about her parents and grandparents but not alot about her children. thanks again anna

Well, I guess you know where mum and dad were born, so you could look in the birth index to see if any children with the same surname and mothers surname appears - these are most likely going to be siblings. Had a quick look through deaths for a Gertrude lakin - this is the only one I could see as a possible- would they have moved to Birmingham? The first box always jumbles it - you had to put See below please and then click on add reply and set it out better in the next box. So who are these people you want to find - what relationship are they? They both have the name Gertrude and both born around 1900? Are they both your grans? What do you want to find - their ancestors or their descendants? The last census we can look at was in early 1901 so if they were born after that they wont appear on it. It may be that you will need to get their marriage certificates (£7 each unless one of your relatives has them?) For people to help you need to give every little bit of info you have on them.
