Find Ancestors

I have some WW1 artfacts (cap badges, dog tags, etc) which relate to a William Winter. I would love to be able to return these to his family but I'm stuck finding anyone. I'm hoping to find them through Ancestry or.... William Henry E Winter was registered Q4 1887 in Wycombe (Bucks) William Ernest H Winter (believe same person) married Q2 1909 in Wycombe. Wife's name shown as Barbara Jane SIMBLAIR. This seems to be a mistranscription since 1901 census shows nobody with this surname. Have tried Sinclair without success. At some stage before 1933, they moved to Slough. Can anybody guess the right name or find any contacts. I wait hopefully Jim

I have one other clue to follow up -- a letter dated February 1933 from New Zealand. It's addressed to Bab abd Bill and signed 'Yours Sincere Bro Stuart B. Hi IMHO I think Bro Stuart B is Barbara's brother and he could be the Reginald on the 1901 Census for Byker. Sep 1895 a Stuart Reginald S Blair was born in Windsor and on the 1901 Reginald Blair 5 is down as being born in Berks Windsor. Therefore the 1901 family seems to be the right family. Found this marriage which is the beginning of the Simm-Blairs I believe.
