That's fine Liz, thanks for having a look. Hollin Lane, I have a few from that area. Wiil muse over supper. Reg, just looked up his sister Ann on my parish records, no parents, no marriage but her burial. Typical. Thanks for trying, much appreciated, will have to be a marriage cert. Cheers Margaret.

Thanks Reg, think that's the way i'll have to go. Just too many of them in that area. Even have parish records and he's not appearing, prior to 1851. I'll get there. That may help a bit, I have most of these families, been at it 30 odd years. Is there an address? ? Cheers M.

Can anyone find me William Smithies on the 1841. Age 16, mother should be Ann age 39? In the Middleton/Tonge area of Lancs. No idea who father is, this is what i'm trying to find out. I have William on the 1851 and up to his death in 1860, plus his wife/children, no probs. Just can't see him on the 1841. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Margaret.
