I just noticed, Joe, that on the original of the 1871 census daughter Margaret is listed last. The children are normally listed according to age but Margaret age 11 is listed after Patrick who is 4. I wonder if her age should be 1 or 11 months and that would be why she was born in Liverpool and not Ireland? Just a thought and doesn't help much with your search. Margaret

Sorry, Joe, I can't find anything on the BVRI discs. The births in Wexford don't start until 1864. I can't find a marriage of a Patrick to Anastatia. Don't know what to suggest now. Margaret

Dear Helper, I am trying to get some indication about my ancestors who came from Ireland. I have been told that onlya person with the BIVRI disks can descerne the births and marriage. My Great Great Grandfather was named PATRICK NOLAN b circa 1824 b Waterford Co My Great Great Grandmother was named Anastatia............ b circa 1825 b Wexford They had a family in Wexford but moved to Liverpool where they had two more. Except in the Lancs 1871 census it indicates a Wexford birth after they moved to Liverpool. It could be a mistake or they were visiting Wexford at the time of the birth. By a hand me down story Patrick was a coachman to a well to do family and ran off with either the daughter or the Lady of the house. True- Only God knows!! Children:- James Nolan b 1856 Wexford son William Nolan b 1858 Wexford son Margaret Nolan b 1860 Liverpool daughter Mary Nolan b 1862 Wexford daughter & Servant Patrick Nolan b 1867 Liverpool son They all lived at 107 Athol St. Liverpool [take from the 1871 Lancs Census] In the 1881 Census Anastatia is a widow. I thank you in anticipation of your kind consideration of my difficulty,. Joe Walker in Texas.
