I see Norman's army service record's online on the NAA site. He sounds interesting - did you know he was a watercolour artist?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH I have found some marriages and deaths of the said people, so they definately went there. I have also managed to find the entire family minus the father on a ship list. He must of gone out there a little earlier, but havent found him on a ship yet.

I believe one line of my tree moved to New South Wales. somewhere between 1881 and 1891, is there any census' online for this area and how do I find out if they more about them if they did move there. The family were as follows James Douglas Rutherford born c1829 in Kelso, Roxburgh Susan Rutherford born c1832 in Edinburgh William Rutherford born 1859 Kelso Francis Kemp Rutherford born 1860 Kelso Jessie Alice Rutherford born 1862 Darlington, Durham Douglas Rutherford born c1870 Darlington, Durham Norman Alexander Kemp Rutherford born 1872 Darlington thanks
