Hi Richard, My gg grandfather was born Edwin....but on his marriage he was Edward.........I think they just liked to change their names!!!!! My grandmother was born Annie Maud.....on her marriage certificate she was Vera Ann !!!!!! Still don't know why. Regards Vera

Hi There, My great x3 grandfather was Edwin Tibbins b abt Birmingham, Warwickshire. He married Sarah Ann Dutton in 1875 but he is registered as Edward Tibbins not Edwin. What could be the reason for this. Can anyone help me please? Regards Richard
