Thank you very much, and Angela you seemed to have got it just right. I have only just come on line and printed out all of the messages, you have put it together nicely. You said on 1881 Census that Mary is the sister-in-law to Fanny Amos, what about being her daughter as there was a baby girl born in 1860 to Mary and Charles Rawlings unless the little baby died. I know there is an age difference in Francis but I should probably ignore that and check once again for another Frances Care in births. I came up with the 1945 birth because it said on the 1881 Census that she was 37 and quoted that date. You wouldnt believe it but I have the 1881 census printed out and Mary is on that, I didnt look at it because I didnt bconnect the name. I am going to look for deaths now. Julia Did you see the Fanny CARE/Charles RAWLINGS marriage I posted? You probably know that Fanny is a form of Frances. Girls could marry at 12 years old in those days. Angela ps - I've looked up that 1851 Care family in 1861 & Frances is not at home with the rest of them.

Well at least that takes care of Frances Rawlings, she married a Charles who wasn't on the listing unless there was another one. Also my Frances would only be about 14 then.There is a John Newman I wonder who he married! 1851 Census looks good, could be the correct one at that stage.This is peculiar. I have sent a message to Kerri who is doing the Ireland bit and asked her if she would check to see if perhaps they got married over at Waterford Ireland, have to try everything. Hi Julia I've checked the images on Ancestry for a Frances Care in Sept qtr 1869. Interestingly there is a Francis Robert Care vol 2a p 1326 Elham, but no Frances Mary. Have also looked for a Frances Care marriage to a Rawlings with no luck. Angela

I don't know if Frances is my Care but as you can see there are two men and only one woman, where is the other one? I had the same problem the other day and the other name was found by somebody but I am not sure where, I will most likely have to go through my printouts for the last few days. The Birth was the 6th August 1870 at Waterford, Ireland. A civil registration recorded in Ireland. Perhaps I will have to get onto Kerri again and ask her if she can check out the name again plus maybe marriage over there, what do you think? Julia

Thanks ladies, I did find Francis Robert Care as I went through the quarters but being a man I didn't mention him. Yes strange very close to the page number I wanted. Also I don't think that is the correct one as Richard was born in Ireland Sept Qtr, though I suppose they could have gone over while pregnant. It gets complicated doesn't it, why isn't anything easy. where was William Deane born What was son's name born in Ireland did they live in Ireland or return to England. Is the birth shown above the correct person! Carol

I have a problem, Kerrie in Ireland gave me the names William Deane and Frances Care, their son was born in Waterford in Ireland. Upon checking marriages I have had difficulty with Frances. Have found a birth at the right year Frances Mary Care B1845 Elham. I have found a marriage in Sept Qtr 1869 for only three people. Frances Rawlings/John Newman/William Deane. Is there anybody who could tell me or find for me the other person please. This is getting interesting, I thought I had found the right person and then there is complications. Thanks Julia
