Sir Name Change

You can legally call yourself anything you like without any official 'name change' documentation so I'm not sure you will find anything regarding adding a second name to his surname. Sam x

Hi My Grandad was born Arthur Herbert Booth in 1904, his mum Irene Ida Booth (she wasn't married when she had Grandad) married his Step Father William James Jarvis between Jan 1908 and Jan 1910. Irene wasnt married in Jan 1908 but was in Jan 1910. Grandad married in July 1932 and his Sir name was Booth-Jarvis. Where would I look for his Name Change. Thanks Debbie
