Please can you try and help to find Laura Alice Berry on the 1891 census. She was born in Worsley, Lancashire in 1878 Q3 Barton 8c 510. Her parents were Charles (b c1826) and Martha (b c 1833) Berry. On the 1871 census RG 10/3965/17/27 in Worsley, Lancashire with her family. On the 1881 census RG 11/2614/3/51 in Stanton Lacy, Shropshire at the national school as a pupil, living with her eldest sister (Henrietta Louisa). 1891???? On the 1901 census RG 13/1236/ 17 in Friern Barnet, Middlesex, a teacher living with 2 younger sisters Flora and Annie. She married in 1904 and died in 1948. This is information is for a centenary project I am working on for the school where I work. Laura was the first head teacher of the school when it opened in 1907. She married Herbert Brownridge Goulden (the sister of Emmiline Pankhurst). It’s going to be an interesting project – I hope. I do appreciate that it maybe possible that she went to work abroad for a while. Many thanks for your help. Anne

only trouble with Laura Bunt is she is too old Laura Alice would only be 13 jeanette

The Laura A Bunt one is actually transcribed as Berry on findmypast. Gail. x
