Hi Christine, I've just posted a message on there. I didn't realise but I have actually been a member since 2004 (apparently)! Thanks again, Julie

Hello Christine, Thank You for that. I'm not a member of Roots Chat as of yet, I'll look into it. Best Wishes and Thanks again. Julie

You can buy a booklet of the burial indexes from DFHS covering the dates you want for £2 and also marriages which cover that district sold by surname letter also £2. I have just ordered some but not for Barmby Dunn. If you are a member of rootschat there is someone on the West Riding board there who does look ups every Friday. Hope this helps Christine

Hello Everyone, I recently emailed the Doncaster Archives asking if they are able to do BMD lookups for Barmby Dun (which is where my husband's earliest descendents hail from). Yes, they do, but it costs £13, there are no guarantees, and searches are limited to a half hour. I also asked if it was possible to buy a CD Rom of the BMD's (No), and although some fiches are available, they don't cover the dates I need (1790's). Is there anyone that is willing to some lookups for me? I live in Portsmouth so can't really visit in person. I am more than happy to cover any costs. Many Thanks in advance. Jules
