Hi I have for a long time being trying to find a marriage in Ahoghill Antrim Ireland. For Michael Kane and Martha Kerr. From 1861 they can be traced as they were in Scotland. The marriage was meant to be RC and took place on the 31st of May 1856.I have contacted a priest at a church in Ahoghill but he says he can find nothing.Anyone who may have some ideas please contact me as I am in the UK and have little idea of how to find this marriage. This is my only hope of going back any further with my family history.Maybe from this i may be able to trace the family in Antrim. Also she was born in Derry abt.1835 Father Joseph Kerr and he was born in Antrim abt.1833 Father James Kane. Thanks to anyone with any knowledge.Patsy.
