Please could someone have a look in the 1891 and 1901 censi for : GRANVILLE GEORGE GREENWOOD b~1849 Belgravia, St George Hanover Square, Middlesex I can't find him in the 1881 census but he seems to be in 1891? Many thanks, Geoff.

Do you think this is him in 1891? 16 St George Rd., St. George, Hanover Square Granville Greenwood, head, 41, barrister, born London Living with cook and housemaid. Can't tell if he's married or not, don't know if it's m for married or u for unmarried, although others are s for single so looks like he's married but no wife with him.

I believe in 1881 he's plain George Greenwood. He's age 31, born Middlesex, Hanover Square, a barrister at law. He's living at a lodging house in Winchester, says he's married but no wife with him.

Presuming that it was Laurentia that he married, this looks like her in 1881: 16 St. George's Rd., St. George's Hanover Square, Westmister( same address as 1891) Laura Greenwood, wife, 22, barrister's wife, born Middlesex, Chelsea Elsie May, dau, 2, born St. Geo. Hanover Sq. Rowland? C., son, under 5 months, born St. Geo. Hanover Sq. Plus 2 cooks, a housemaid, a nurse and a nurserymaid.

Complication here! These seem to be the children on the 1891 census but they seem to be alone. They're listed as grandchildren but they're in a household by themselves.The couple above them are named Aldridge but their address is different. Here they are: Froxfield Green, Froxfield, Hants. John Aldridge, head, 64, ag. lab., born Hants., Kingsclear Elizabeth Aldridge, wife, 61, born Hants., Priors Dean And next door Village Rd., Broadhanger House, Froxfield, Hants. Elsie M. Greenwood, grandau, 12 Roland C., grandson, 10 Kathleen M., grandau, 8 Violet, grandau, 4 All born London, Belgravia. Plus a housekeeper and 2 nurses.
