Hi Wendy, I don't think so. She appears as baptised and married as Pearce. Also, the child, Lucy, is in the list of children baptised to Stephen & Elizabeth, so just a coincidence, I think. Oops, mayhave misunderstood you, there. Hannah & Thomas were both bapt as Stephen's children, though, so I still don't think she was married before. As for being busy - I should be, I'm at work! But it's very quiet and I was getting very bored,so thought I'd see if I could help someone on the boards, instead:)) Glad I did now. Debbie

Deb, Thank you for the 1841census. I have found on the IGI Hugh Wallis Site Marriage for Lucy PEARCE & Stephen BAILEY 22nd Sept 1834 Chaddlesworth. So it seems on the 1841census Stephen may have had a young BRIDE 25yrs with a Daughter Hannah 1yr. The other children were from his previous marriage I would think to Elizabeth SPRULES she died 1829. I would like to find Lucy PEARCE's family if I could. Wendy R

There is one Lucy pearce on IGI but she was born Chaddleworth in 1828... her parents were James and Martha Maybe if you researched this one because sometimes the dates are transcribed wrong... good luck
