Hi Julie, thank for looking. I know sarah was born c1812 and the family you listed are the correct ones. David

Image on the 1861 has Elizabeth unmarried

James had a son called George Abraham with Sarah Ann Wiltshire in 1853. James died in 1858 and Elizabeth Wiltshire was present at the death so I assumed that she was Sarah's sister. By the way if it helps, Sarah was born in Glasgow. David

Just a correction on the 1861 census Louisa E. is Whitfield not Wiltshire as transcribed. Elizabeth is Wiltshire.

I believe on the 1851 census the term daughter-in-law is used to denote stepdaughter. She's only 15. I believe she's Sarah's daughter from a previous marriage or illegitimate, Margaret
