In 1867 Sarah Hannah Sharpe married William Smith in Stamford and in the 1881 census she is 33 from Gt. Casterton (which is just outside Stamford). There is a FreeBMD birth for Sarah Hannah Sharp Sep Qtr 1846 Stamford. I would like to see if she shows up in 1851 or 1861 with family please. Many thanks, Frances

Hi June, I am trying to get my head round all the info you have given me! It seems that the young Smith children in the 1871 census do not appear in 1881 (which tallies with what I found in 1881) and I would not have thought they would have left home. Either they died or are staying with the grandparents on census day? Do either the '51 or '61 give places of birth for William and Charlotte please? Thank you do much for your extra searching.
