You can't do look-ups online, Clare, you have to purchase the set of discs from the LDS Church. You can do this via the Familysearch website, which unfortunately is shut down today. I'm in Canada and when I checked the website the price quoted was $20 US which is about 10 pounds, I believe, but I have heard from others on Genes that they are charged 28 pounds in England. Still it's not a bad deal for a set of 16 cd's. Margaret

Hi Clare, The BVRI is not on the web, it is on CD, and contains records of births, christenings, marriages and some deaths. It is produced by the Church of the Latter day Saints (Mormons) that run the Familysearch site (LDS) that contains some records of baptisms, marriages and deaths.
