Find Ancestors

I have spent an awful long time with the help of others to trace the birth of Sarah Shaddock 1821 Bristol with no success. On her marriage certificate it states that her Father is John Shaddock a shoemaker. I would estimate that his birth would be 1790 to 1800 and I wondered as a long shot if there are any John Shaddock 40 to 50 years old on the 1841 census with occupation shoemaker or similar. Hi Clare, when did Sarah marry? Is she likely to be at home with her father in 1841?

In 1841 Sarah was living in Birmingham with another family. Thank you all for your help I just cannot grt anywhere with Sarah at all. Ozzibird could you let me have some more details on the two John Shaddocks that you have found? Thank you so much

Thanks Ozi I have looked at this family but another blank. Sarah lives in Birmingham near another relative Mary Shaddock again from Bristol and I managed to find her birth and family but again I was stuck because i could not find her parent's marriage which may have given me a link. Sarah herself is a tough nut to crack but her marriage in 1850 is a bigamous one and she had most of her children before she was married which caused a lot of confusion.
