In 1871 Samuel Grinsall, age 12, born Bilston, is a boarder with Mary Harris, widow, age 65, Luke St., Bilston. He's a sweeper in ironworks.

Brother Isaac in 1881 with sister Mary and another brother Samuel who doesn't appear in 1871, will have to go back and look for him. 1881 census 9 Salop St., Bilston Staffordshire Isaac Grinsell, head, 26, sheet iron roller Sarah, wife, 25 Sarah J., dau, 6, scholar Sarah A., dau, 2 Agnes E., dau, 1 Samuel H., brother, 20, sheet iron roller Mary, sister, 14 All born Bilston except wife Sarah born Sedgley, Staffs.
