You could look for a death for Henry William. That might give you his date of birth. Rose

You really need the birth cert, to find out MMN, and then you can look for a marriage. That, in turn, will tell you the names and occupations of the fathers, and should enable you to find them in 1901. Reg

Hi I know my grandfather was aged 22 in December 1926 and was living in Liverpool, through his marriage certificate I know his Fathers namebut there is no sign of him in Liverpool in the 1901 census. My Grandfather was Henry William Chapman and his Father was Edward Chapman. I have found 5 henry chapmans in the births at the right time. If my Grandfather was one of them, would it give the middle name too? How do I move on? Any ideas please?
