Is anybody going to the Liverpool records office that would be kind enough to do a look for me? The Cemetery order books ref 353 CEM I believe they are in date order, I no longer live anywhere near Liverpool so help would be appreciated. I am looking 1 in Anfield cemetery Percival Arthur Mann died 8th May 1941 aged 33 a fireman from Dewsbury Road. We know ther was no headstone his widow could not afford one. However, we are told it was a family plot with one other family member in it but we would love to know who it is. and details of the grave. Also, John Mann who died 22nd June 1895 Borough Hospital Bootle aged 43 ship steward of Rossett St Walton. Do not know which cemetery he was buried in. Which would be the likely one any ideas. Information on this would be great if it could be traced Thanks Jacky

Kenneth If you e-mail cemeteriesandcrematoria at liverpool(.)gov(.)uk with the details that you know about the death then they will look up the plot number and the date of burial for you free of charge. I don't know whether they will be able to tell you if there was anyone else in the plot and the details of them but certainly they can give you the details for the relative you know. I contacted them with the dates of death of my great great grandparents who are both buried in Anfield Cemetery and they came back with their dates of burial and plot numbers. Hope it is of some use.
