Have I missed something. Albert Edward Watson b.3/1/1903 mothers maiden name Harrison, cannot find a ref for him. Also Frederick G.Watson his bother they were both born in England. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Frederick was younger than Albert and unfortunately I do not know what thwe G, stands for. I will order both of Albert certifcates and give the maiden name. Thankyou for your advise.

I think the Romford ref is unlikely, but maybe the Daventry or Devonport could be either. His father was in the army at the time of his birth and the family lived in marriage quarters. Albert was my father and ided in 1959 when I was 12. My mother died when I was 19. I wish I had asked more questions when I was younger, thanks for your help.

You could always order one of the two possibles and ask that they check the mother's maiden name. If it is the wrong one, the GRO will refund part of the fee. Sam x

Was Frederick older or younger than his brother? And what name did the 'G' represent? Reg
