The father was in the Army, so the birth would probably be under military records. You'll need to buy some units for findmypast to access them. Reg

just to say thank you for your help i tried to find marys marriage i forgot to add she was award military honours for during the indian mutiny she crawled over dead bodies to bring back water for her husband and shes buried in camberley but without her married name i cant search for her grave so it would be awar grave i think not sure joyce
