I have been looking for the parents of my relative Francis Henry John Annis(1915). I got his birth certificate and it gives his parents names as Francis Edward Annis and Kathleen Annis formerly Price. This tallies with the BMD for my relative it also states mothers maiden as Price. However when I looked for a marriage I could not find one between these 2 names...... I did however find a marriage between a Kathleen Warmington and Francis Edward Annis in 1913. This parish record for this marriage matches the personal information that I have for Francis Annis regarding his occupation RN Signalman.... So I am now confused as to why if this is the same Kathleen that her name is different( I have considered a previous marriage to a Warmington, but to no avail and she was only 19 when she married Francis Annis and her fathers name is stated as a Warmington too. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions, Please I would really appreciate them |
