Hi All Trying to solve a family mystery concerning a illegit child with the first names of Florence Louise or Florence Rose ? born 3 Feb 1886/87 (known by both names) - fathers name was James PETTS died 1890, though mothers name is unknown. (Florence went onto marry a Isaac Farrow in 1906 in Luton and then a Alfred Fenn in 1916). According to family stories Florence lived with possibly a cousin called Florence Emily Gascoyne also born 1886 in Bedfordshire, wondering if somone can tell me her parents names as this may help shed some light? Any help would be great.

Many thanks to you all. This is going to take some time to solve I think. A relation of mine has the marriage certs for both Florence' marriages to the Farrow and Fenn and also her death certificate, though none of these tell us her mothers name and nor can we find her birth reg even though goes by Petts in the documentation. I wonder if her mothers maiden name was either Gascoyne or Cook (Joseph Gascoyne in the 1901 married Mary ann Cook) Thanks again Dan
