He is in East London Cemetery! He died in NW london as a result of a railway accident but lived in East London. Well done Lisa J. Today I followed that information up with a visit to East London Cemetery and lo and behold he is buried there. Believe me it is the most loveliest cemetery ever and the staff were so helpful, they helped me transcribe the register details, gave me a map detailing the area in which his common grave is, and also escorting me in my wheelchair, in the rain to the particular area where he had been buried back in 1880. I have taken some beautiful pictures of the area he was buried. I got soaked but it was well worth it. I will definitely go back as I need to leave a memorial to him. I really do appreciate all the assistance and advice I get with my research. Oh and btw the lady who found the information was from Tracing Your Family History - Welcome To the Tracing Your Family History Community! However she managed to find the information on Rootsweb. You see it might take a bit of time, but keep going, because someone somewhere has probably got the information you have been longing for. Good Luck Fi

How lovely Fi and don't you feel moved even tho you didn't know them and they would have no inkling of their descendants, I found my dads grans grave a couple of years ago , she didn't even know him cos she died 3 weeks before he was born in 1907. We went to the cemetary and its so well kept that they know where ALL the graves are and were able to take me to her grave even tho it was just a lawned area, I put flowers on it from her family that she didnt know. I bet it was many moons since she had been acknowledged, Shirley
