I'm trying to trace surviving members of the family of Harry Callaghan who was killed on 3 March 1945, he was a navigator on a Lancaster bomber that was shot down. His parents, Henry and Mary, lived in Prestwich, but I know nothing further than that apart from a couple of possible death certs. for Mary, one registered in 9/1984 in Blackpool, vol.40, page 773, the other registered in Preston in 2/86, vol. 40 page 2190. Any help with a check of these or addresses etc from electoral rolls etc would be very much appreciated. Max Williams Portland Dorset. |
