I have this family in 1861 & all subsequent censuses. Please can anyone find George and Mary in 1851 – Mary was born in Newbury, Berkshire & George was a bricklayer. Thanks in advance. Reg Apologies, should've said. They married in 1848 in Speenhamland, Berks. Mary's maiden name was Tyler. I haven't been able to find her in 1841 either, her father was Joseph, a labourer. Thanks. Angela

Thanks for looking Andrea, but I'm pretty sure that's not him. He always gives his birthplace as Salisbury, even when in the workhouse in 1901. Angela
