BIRTH ON SHIP

Rosalind Report 5 May 2007 21:05

TWO OF MY ANCESTORS TRAVELLED FROM ENGLAND BY BOAT - PORT LINCOLN IN JULY 1919 AND ARRIVED IN SYDNEY IN SEPTEMBER 1919. WHEN THEY LEFT ENGLAND THEY ONLY HAD ONE CHILD WHO IS NOT RECORDED ON THE LIST OF PASSENGERS. IT APPEARS THAT THEY HAD A SON WHO WAS BORN IN 1919. HIS NAME WAS CHARLES ERNEST LINCOLN COWCHER AND SO IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HE MAY OF BEEN BORN DURING THE VOYAGE. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANYWHERE I CHECK FOR BIRTHS WHILST ON THE SHIP.
