Thank you for letting me know about this website. I've entered most of my certificates now. I've not found any matches yet, but I'll keep trying.

I gather from a couple of members that they were having problems logging in. I sent a message via the 'contact us' link, and Marie explained that you DO need to log in twice (cost too much to fix, and she's trying to keep the site free for as long as she can finance it for), and also that it's case-sensitive. So if anyone's tried the site, DON'T give up - it will benefit all of us, if we keep adding stuff to it. (Unless, of course, you're NEVER going to need to get hold of any more certificates!) Bx

All mine are on there, whether I need them or not. It took me a while to enter them all but hopefully they help someone and in the same way it would be nice to think that occasionally I could find details that I need of a birth death or marriage without paying for the cert - especially non direct lines where i just want confirmation rather than actual evidence! Just wanted to plug the website bmdshare (.) c o m - if you enter all the certs you have, other people don't have to buy certs., especially helpful if you're not sure which one you need. There's also an exchange service offered, for the certs that have been bought by mistake. This has come up on other threads, but it's worth a reminder. Go on, get entering - 'you know it makes sense'! (The more that we get added on, the more likely it to save us money!) Bx
