Kaz Who's Maria? and that later birth (aged 61), well he was still in Wales in 1901 although I suppose it's possible he moved back to Somerset in later life Unless I've got the totally wrong Henry!

Thanks That's the record I've found as well, but having trouble with the census before he moved to Wales. And I'm still none the wiser who ann Rookley is?

PPS: I should add that I'm assuming he's the right one. I think he was the father of Henry Wright (born 1877) who was a Sailor who got married in Pembrey Wales and his father is listed as Henry Wright (a labourer) on his marriage certificate.

PS: Did manage to find an Ann that married a Henry on BMD in 1865 but her surname was Rookley and I can find no Ann Rookley born in Carmarthenshire

Have hit another brick wall (temporarily given up on Mary Jane Cosway!). Trying to find more records for Henry Wright, born around 1848 in Somerset and married to Ann (according to census info, born in Pembrey, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales). The records from 1881 show them living in Carmarthenshire with a BIG family. However, I can only find records from 1881, 1891 and 1901. Can't find anything before that, and can't find marriage records or birth records. I've come across one Henry Wright born in Langport in Somerset but I don't know if it's the same one. Can't find anything for Ann so don't know her surname. Any help appreciated. Many thanks
