jill have done that and says page cant be found i did remove the brackets as well

Joyce I have had a quick look at the full indexes between 1913 -1918 and I cant see a death for her. I have to go out now but if no one has been able to help I will take another look later. Georgina.

my grandmothers name was helen morgan nee tyler born abt 1869 she married in 1892 she was still alive on the 1901 census ,so i think died before her hubby died in 1918

What date are we talking about? Have you searched the actual images for you grandmother's death, I am guesing it would have bee in the period not yet covered by transcribed indexes. Jennifer

On a male death certificate they only give details of the deceased and the name and address of the informant, unless it was a child, then it will say son or daughter of and the father's name. On a famale certificates it will say wife or widow of, unless they are unmarried, then it will sometimes say daughter of. This realtes to women being considered of secondary importance to men. You need to look on the FULL records............you clearly are looking only at transcribed ones, which, as you know.............go up to only about 1911. Reg

14 november 1918 what i meant to say its not on his death cert that his wife is dead looked on ancestry ,latter day saints
