thanx julie, but if she is an orphan does it mean her parents are dead which means she can`t be related to william as he was born 61/62 and his marr cert does not state his father as dead but his wifes father is..................god i`m getting confused sharon

Thats what make me wonder if it is thomas wardell I think Elizabeth died and seeing as grace was 15 put her into the home cos soon she would be going out into the big wide world and kept William with him....Just had a thought brb

If you ordered Grace bith certificate you'll get both parents names and mothers maiden name i think i got williams mother as elizabeth off the igi I also think Thomas Wardell is the father and the children were given Errington 1) because Elizabeth was married 2) or Elizabeth wasn't married and Errington was her maiden name

can anyone find Grace A Errington with mother elizabeth on the 91 sharon

i may have this sorted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 i have spoken to roger errington and he says williams father was john errington and not thoimas???? and grace was def williams sister,,,,, just have to wait until he has got time to update his genes tree to let me know.. he also says the william with sarah herron as nephew on the 71 is the right one but don`t know how yet... roger says he has cracked it so just have to wait now....God i hate waiting... but never mind.. thanx to every one who tried to help but wonder at the wrong info on marr cert which has lead me and you lot on the wrong trail !!!!! can`t wait to see what roger comes up with thanx everyone sharon

right.... i have got info about erringtons which has made things worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! apparently my william errington`s father Thomas on marriage cert is wrong, it`s his step father Thomas Wardell, i have been told his father was John Errington who died a year after his birth so did not know his father.. problem isWilliam is living 1881 with grace and charles stockdale as brother in law and there is a marriage for grace errington and charles... the info i have got is graces parents were thomas and elizabeth HALL, they also had another daughter(graces sister) Mary A, they also had a william who died an infant before grace was born how do i find out if Thomas or John is Williams father.. there are 4-5 wiliam erringtons born 1861/62 houghton le spring can anyone help me please on where to go from here
