hiya justin I think you should name and shame this 'woman' who has ripped you off, to put it politely...i think its disgusting what she has charged you, and then to have to pay extra to have a tree... I hope you have much luck in your search, and try and have a merry christmas, what is left of it Julie

I paid a geneologist £600 and got lots of excellent marriage and birth certs but no real tree. I then paid her another £30 for tree which she ecentually gave me! I have put this tree and expanded it myself via RoootsWeb and foyn I ma linked to Alexander Vn Mayerbach on the Morley side. You can see it on this site if you like just ask me for access. I have no luck with Tripp's as you now know. I cannot spend anymore money. You have helped me with Rosa May Tuck. I did try Ancestory.com but they charge for all lookups and views and before you know it your 50 credits are gone and you are no further down the road in your search. So I turn to guys for your kind and charitable help if given? :-) Any help with the Tripps? Justin

Yes, Justin, Good idea , do yourself a little sketch of a family tree and see where the gaps are. Just one Q though - where did you pay out all this money and yet found so little?

Possibly this one: Birth Dec 1906 Tripp Hilda Mabel Marylebone 1a 490 No way of knowing without buying the cert though (or waiting till 2012) or maybe this one... Birth Jun 1904 Tripp Hilda Eileen Edmonton 3a 472 Who were Johns parents?

Great work Jess! Can I add my 2c worth (Aussie money) Here is the first wife's death in Mar qu'tr 1867: Nightingale Emma Ann 39 W. Ham 4a 7 Perfect fit. Might I also suggest that 2nd wife Eliza had also been previously married. Hence the daughter Elizabeth living with them in 1871 is from her first marriage to GRANGER. Searched NSW births, the only 2 possibles are Eliza A BROWN in 1834 to Silvester and Eliza A, and Eliza A CURREEN in 1832 to John & Joanna M. Can't find a UK nor NSW marriage for either of these wmn to a GRANGER or GRAINGER though darn it. :-)
