Hi all I have received Abraham Thomas Tucker's Brith Certificate and his mother's maiden name is not clear. It could be Hedley, Medley or Wedley. Can anyone please help me with this search in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. |

Birth registration for Abraham Thomas is in 1891, not 1893: Births Jul-Aug-Sep 1891 Tucker Abraham Thomas Birmingham 6d 65 So that fits with the age of the Thomas in the census details above. The birth cert would confirm his mother's maiden name! |

I am looking for any information regarding the Tucker family from Birmingham, West Midlands, England. I am looking for info specifically about my great grandparents, Joseph Tucker born 1851, BIRMINGHAM West Midlands England married to Elizabeth born 1856 possibly a Tucker as well. They have a son named Abraham Thomas or Thomas Tucker born July 1893 birmingham England. I am looking for any family he may have had or connections to them. I live in Australia and 'Thomas' mirgranted to here in 1922 married and had 8 children. I am a granddaughter and I would like to find the English side of the family. I have got contact with the maternal English side and now need to fill in the Paternal English side of the family tree. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cathrine |
