Hi, Thank you for your very, very kind offer - it is greatly appreciated. Could you do a deaths look-up if possible in Scotland, please. William John Weames (M) Age 38 Ayr c1924. I am after the names of his parents & where he was born - Ireland or Scotland. I live in Australia & have spent so much money trying to trace my g/grandfather's family. Also if it is possible, are you able to look up census forms as well? Maybe 1901 (is there a 1910 yet?) for William John Weames and/or Jane Weames or Jane McCullough.I am desparately trying to break down a brick wall, & this particular family seems to be my only hope at present. Regards, Sandra PS- I don't mind waiting. I have waited 10 years so far. Sandra PPS - This is an updated message from November, as you told me to repost, Thanks |

Hi Mhairi, I thought as you said they may have come from Ireland but I just hoped not. Never mind some day I will maybe find them. The other information you gave me on the Ferguson's, Sullivan, etc was great. All the parens and deaths will help a great deal to trace them in the various census. I can't thank you enought for taking the time to do all this. I hope your Uni. is going ok and I can understand why you have been away for some time, you can't study and do this as well Uni. is more inportant. Wishing you all the best for the future!! Betty |

Hiya, just a small request wondering if you could have a look for the birth of George Bevan, 1924. Shouldn't be hard to find, since their probably weren't very many Bevans in Scotland! Parents should be Rebecca and Bertie (or Albert) Bevan. Thanks for your time. |

Hi Mhairi Thanks for the kind offer, and i hope im not too late. I have a few I would like, but of course understand if you dont or find that you dont have time. Im looking for possible children for a William James Campbell and a Mary Mason, they were married 16 Jul 1915 Dennistoun, Glasgow. Mary died 15 Mar 1919. William later married a Christina Dickson Janet Dick on the 27 Aug 1920 Dennistoun, Glasgow so there could be children from this marriage. Christina died 21 Jan 1923. If im not too cheeky Donald Campbell married an Esther Moffat 28 Oct 1903 Dennistoun, Glasgow. I have searched up to 1905 on SP but cant find anything, I was wondering if there was anything for 1906, 1907. Lastly Donald Campbell b 19 Jan 1919 Glasgow to Lily Campbell and Andrew T Campbell, I would like to know their address at the time and fathers occupation would be great. Thanks very much |
