thanks lorraine could be right as both williams ages match it is such a difficult line to follow as surname varients are many it has been impossible even with this sites help to trace back on census william abt 1852 married eliza dykes oct 1871 they had 22 children i believe and i cannot find them on census thanks again will do more varient checks-marie

hi lorraine thanks for the offer. can you please do a lookup for: ROBERT ROBSON, born 1801 in north shields, northumberland. he married HANNAH RENNISON, born 1801 in north shields, northumberland. in the 1851 census, robert's occupation is listed as 'shipwright' i think they should still be residing in the northumberland area in 1861. thanks for looking scott
