Just checked 1881 census for a Philip Murphy and only one in Midlothian... Lasswade. but he is unmarried the others are all in Govan Lanarks and one in Greenock Renfrew. Shaz |

Well she married in Lasswade, Midlothian in 1895 and her age then puts her birth at around 1878ish. |

Debs can you narrow it down any?? Do you know Mary's married name at all?? To look this up would take possibly 26 credits... one to view results of search and then 5 credits for every record viewed. If you could narrow it down a bit I could have a look for you. Shaz |

Im trying to find information on the 5 possibles that come up when you search for: Births, Mary Murphy, 1875-1881, Midlothian county. Im hoping theres a possibility that one of them has parents called Philip Murphy and Mary Redpath? (mothers surname could be slightly different). Thanks, Deborah |
