Hi Cheryl, Can you please look up in the 1841 and 1851 census: Lucy Goodman b ca 1837 Mary Ann Goodman b ca 1830 Caroline Goodman b ca 1835 The children are all born in North Crawley Bucks with a mother Elizabeth and possibly the fathers name is Thomas the information I have is that he was a gamekeeper at Woburn Abbey. After much searching and help from others I have the following family living in Manchester in 1841:- William Milot 1817 Lancs Catherine 1817 Ireland Mary 1837 Lancs John 1839 Lancs William 1841 Lancs In 1851 I have the same Family listed as Millett - christian names match and birth dates very close so I'm sure it must be them - still living in Manchester with the addition of Edward c1843, Catherine c 1849 and James c 1850. I'm fairly certain their daughter Mary married in Rochdale in 1858 under the name Mylot and used that as her maiden name when registering her chlldren but I would be really grateful of you could see if you can find some of the rest of the family under the name Milot/Mylot/Millett in Manchester/Oldham/Rochdale in 1861. Results: 1 - 1 of 1 Matches Joseph Cook 24 Staffs Bradbury Stafford Ken Farmer & General Labourer I am sure its the one I've given you there is no other on the ancestry version of the 1901 Census anywhere near the right age of place of birth. I am assuming that when the records were transcribed for Ancestry his place of birth was altered it does read as Bradnop?? The one I've given also has the same occupation. The only way to be sure is to purchase some credits of the 1901 census on line site. Regards cheryl
